Commodity deal structuring and support
We organise cross-border commodity deals from the first offer to discharge at the destination port. We act as the deal organiser under a mandate; the principals contract and pay each other directly.
From the offer to discharge
Seller and buyer checks
KYC on both sides: ownership, authority to sign and source of funds. Sanctions screening (OFAC, EU, UN, UK) of companies, beneficial owners and vessels. Confirmation of the product: origin, specification and evidence that the seller controls the goods.
Deal structure
An Incoterms 2020 basis, payment by documentary letter of credit or SBLC under UCP 600, inspection and quantity and quality terms — a contract that both sides’ banks will accept.
Document route
Who issues which document and when — from the offer and contract through inspection certificates and the bill of lading to the LC presentation — so the payment conditions can actually be met.
Support through discharge
We coordinate the parties, inspectors and logistics through loading, voyage and discharge, and keep the document chain clean until payment.
In advisory engagements we act as an independent consultant: we do not take title to the cargo, do not sit in the payment chain and do not hold client funds.
Two fixed-scope products
A defined scope and turnaround. The fee is agreed before work starts.
Offer Check
One offer, a written verdict.
We review one supplier offer: who the seller is and whether they can sign, the product and its origin, the Incoterms basis and payment terms, and the warning signs typical of fraudulent offers. You receive a written verdict — real, fixable or walk away — with the reasons.
Deal Health Check
A review of a live or stalled deal.
We go through the contract, the payment instrument, the document chain and the counterparties of a deal that is under way or has stopped, and identify what blocks it. You receive a written report with the causes and a step-by-step plan to close the deal or exit it.
