What it is
A one-page checklist for the step before payment.
What is inside
- The seller's documents have been checked; the buyer holds a checked contract and delivery instruction
- The payment instrument: a documentary letter of credit or SBLC from the buyer's bank under UCP 600
- The performance bond follows the instrument, not the other way round
- Money moves after documents, not before
- The figure that is left after every commission and fee, not the headline number
- USD payments: US sanctions screened too, as they clear through US banks
